The new line of adhesive labels adheres to materials with a temperature range of -65 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit.

LLT Labels has announced the addition of the CHILL AT product line. Debuted by Mactac, a manufacturer of pressure sensitive adhesive, the CHILL AT product line originally premiered at Labelexpo Americas 2016 as Mactac’s effort to address temperature variations in the markets it serves, including cold-temperature conditions that typically degrade label performance. The new CHILL AT line of adhesive labels adheres to materials with a temperature range of -65 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit, eliminating inconsistent and potentially unreliable labeling technologies that business owners who deal with temperature fluctuations deal with presently. LLT Labels marketing manager Sara Whited remarks, “The engineering behind CHILL AT addresses previous concerns that our customers have raised regarding adhesive effectiveness below a certain temperature. A live demonstration of a CHILL label adhering to a cold, dripping wet water bottle is quite impressive.” LLT Labels, based in Stow, OH, USA, has partnered with many businesses that can benefit from the CHILL AT product line. Food and beverage companies mainly will appreciate the advantages of the improved adhesive. “I think even when it comes to short-term labeling in cold temperatures, business owners are tired of re-printing labels that should have lasted a long time to begin with,” Rose Lockhart, an LLT sales representative says. “Good labels should be a print-once situation.” Using CHILL AT labels is helpful for businesses of any size, stresses Sara Whited.“This new line offers a variety of labelstock consisting of thermal transfer and direct thermal paper for on-demand printing, and semi-gloss, silver and clear stock for striking preprinted labels. We now have the ability to offer a solid solution while bringing the price of cold temperature labels to more affordable levels, even for smaller businesses and startups that might otherwise struggle with costs and calculating return on investment. It’s not just the big industry players that can benefit.”
